Divine Diplomacy is now open to submissions from guest authors. We want this space to be inclusive and have as few barriers to writing as possible.
We specialise in writing about the interplay of politics, security, and religion. While our current focus is on pieces with a Christian background, particularly Orthodox Christian, Catholic, and Anglican perspectives, we are also open to exploring how these issues affect other faith traditions.
The publication is a perfect fit for informed and analytical observers, journalists, academics and theologians, graduates, policymakers, and think tankers.
Please respect Substack’s writing guidelines. Ensure your writing is free of grammatical and spelling mistakes.
We are interested in articles that are between 800 and 1200 words long.
We allow both UK and US spelling, as long as there is consistency within the piece.
Formatting
Your piece should have a short title. A subtitle is optional.
Please include a relevant photo and credit it appropriately.
Pay attention to the formatting of your article. Ensure it is reader-friendly, considering that many of the articles on Substack are read on mobile phones.
Please credit your sources properly. You can use hyperlinks. Make sure the piece is well-researched and is sourced from credible and reputable references.
Use citations where necessary and avoid plagiarism by paraphrasing and quoting correctly.
What is Not Accepted
Already published work is generally not accepted. Some exceptions may apply (get in touch!). For example we are open to translations of articles.
Plagiarism is not accepted. Parts of your draft submission will be checked for plagiarism.
Hate speech is not allowed.
We will not publish a story generated by AI.
